"Dragoon" sexy.
Luck fools with me in different ways. I have wanted to finish collecting the very rare pieces of armour from FFXI to complete my Dragoon Relic Armour Set for a long long time. In the end I gave up and quit FFXI. Just recently, sickened with the bad news regarding my Wii (more info below), I was so bored I decided to join my friends for one dynamis run in Beaucedine Glacier. Just after I entered to zone, within 5 minutes a relic armour dropped. The one I needed to complete the set! Tell me this isn't sexy:
Too bad I don't think I will be going back to play FFXI anymore. /sigh
My Wii... was a disaster. 6th on the preorder list, only the first 5 got their sets... No more stocks for mii... err me. Luck's a funny thing eh?
Caught a glimpse of my new timetable for next semester. Y.U.C.K.S! 5 days of school with some days 1 hour tutorial and others 2 hour lectures. Wasting my time and petrol. Why can't NTU be more efficient and put them on the SAME day at least...? ~fin~

"Epic" this has got to be the biggest weekend in video gaming history.
The Sony Playstation 3 launches in the US today (Saturday) and the Nintendo Wii launches tomorrow (Sunday). Well, to describe both briefly, the PS3 is a graphics-intensive console that costs US$600 but has already been jacked up to SGD$1600 and I heard US$4500 in the UK. The games that were launched, well, did not get very high ratings. Yes they were pretty (if you currently own a 1080i HDTV widescreen going for 5k in SG) but their contents were meh. The Wii is the direct opposite. It is the first system to introduce the revolutionary Wii-mote, the controller that tracks your real life movements and translates them to the game. For example, a swinging motion of your hand swings a tennis racket or a sword in the games. The games, however, are not graphics-intensive and are criticized for being a little childish at times. The system is retailing for US$250. Heck, nothing can beat that price for a next-gen console! Knowing Singaporeans, most will still go for the PS3 for its graphics and wide variety of games. Kinda hard to find die-hard console fans here, needless to say die-hard Nintendo / Zelda fans... I HAVE to get my hands on the Wii... I just have to >.<
