"Soundwave"
A short review + pics of my latest haul:
I would say Soundwave is a good buy... for a figure and not as an MP3 player.
Playback quality is good and volume range is good as well. Then why is it not a good MP3 player?
1. 1 AAA battery lasts 6 hours but in order to insert it, you have to UNSCREW the battery compartment.
2. No battery life indicator.
3. No songlist indicator. It's like an Ipod shuffle.
4. It's too bulky >.< albeit being as cool as it is.
BUT I would recommend it as a figure to collect. It does indeed feel solid in alternate form and with all the accessories, it feels like a really good "updated" Soundwave. They could have improved the paintjob/plastic quality though. I should be getting what I am paying for :/ If you love the look/gimmicks of this figure, you'd better grab it now as prices look like they will go up. Otherwise you should be able to skip this.
Oh and Rumble/Frenzy. They have worse sound quality than my $30+ Sony earphones. Heavy too and the wires are realllly thin. I wouldn't recommend using them really.
Wanted to use Soundwave fulltime but running out of battery and needing a screwdriver when you're out sounds a little retarded to me. Back to Nomad Muvo I say. (Damn bought a 2 GB Mini SD)

~back from a long hiatus
I haven't exactly been blogging in a long time.
Lots of things have happened this past 6 months or so.
Well to sum everything up:
1. 2nd semester sucked. Big time. GPA dropped from 4.6 to a whopping 3.7. boohoo.
2. Teresa and I are getting along just fine. I would say I'm very happy actually.
3. Still as broke as ever with all those figurines/Transformers/games.
4. Speaking of Transformers, it was an awesome movie. Watched it at a fan-screening with everyone cheering! Now that's what I call watching a movie!
5. Spent most of my summer hols playing FFXI. Yes I got back into the addiction. I blame school really. And because of many factors, I've gained a lot of weight ; ; I swim a lot but still...
Yup so that all sums everything up!
Joined a Linkshell called Takara recently with a lot of very interesting people. Spending most of my time there now as I feel a little left out everywhere else. It's not very fun being stuck in a lousy timezone. I'm happy that Jhedin and Ketra try to include me in things they do. The whole bunch of us Phalanx LS people are all split up and mostly off doing our own stuff everyday. Thinking of using the blog there to start an FFXI blog. Hmmm...
