after much contemplation about meeting new people, i decided to spend my saturday afterday playing paintball with the guys i play call of duty with on the xbox boy i was thankful i did it was sooo much fun we spent the whole afternoon laughing and taking pictures although it was raining very heavily before we started, our spirits were not dampened instead, we joked about sliding around in the mud there were 21 guys, 10 of them i know so we were split up into 4 teams, with my team being team B finally it was our turn to start.
since we were playing with "infinite ammo", we had "infinite lives" so if we were hit, we are to run back to our base, touch it and we can continue playing again we were to capture objectives like flags and return them to our base the final objective was to plant a seperate flag on top of a highly placed cone in order to win well, pictures shall do the talking haha
our victory trophy! "don't spend it all in one place!" >.>
now i got so many bruises and aching muscles ~fin~

"fail." well i'm back from japan lol
things that failed: 1. fell sick halfway through my trip. i think i ate too much peng kang... 2. because i fell sick i couldn't continue with my weight loss regime lol 3. i'm still at the weight i lost until... but i look bloated / fat i have no idea why 4. i couldn't find what i wanted to buy in japan... 5. ...so i came back and spent even more money >.< so i'm broke now
ok to those interested in what i was doing to lose weight... introducing... WII FIT!
basically a lot yoga poses, aerobics exercise and strength training yeah i know i can do all these without buying such an expensive thing but i'm paying for the motivation and i think it has paid off now it feels weird if i don't do it at least 30min a day before that i would go jogging or swimming
i wasn't so obsessed with my weight before but now that i'm older i actually feel the effects of the excess weight like lethargy and such that and i need to lose weight to wear nice clothes for my cousin's wedding this october lol

wow i did really badly this sem... 2 B-, 2 B+ and 1 A- this brings my cGPA to 3.95... how to get 2nd upper like that? who was the one who told me astro can score -.- meh... anyway it's over
just finished working for catherine yesterday now feel a bit lost it's been one month since i started working for her that would explain why i didn't blog for so long :P time passed so fast! well i enjoyed my time working and i also got to see the clumsy / funny side of catherine lol hopefully she will get me to work for her again next sem!
now that i've time on my hands again, i've been thinking of playing FFXI again... i shall not succumb to temptation i shall not succumb to temptation i shall not succumb to temptation >.< MMORPGs eat up a whole lot of my time
will be heading to Japan next week... it's a last minute family trip because my brother has to clear leave after his BMT this time teresa cannot come with us because she couldn't take leave ; ; she thinks i'm fine with it but i'm not lor... oh well... then after that special sem starts. hmmm... time to get busy again and i need to work harder than before.
p.s. i lost a total of 4kg liao! *dance* hopefully i will actually look different when i go back to school lol when i'm free i will post what i have been doing :P

"Research" ~i get to run a research study!
i'm going to gloat that i got picked out of 15 people to help dr wan run her research study /dance it's mostly about conformity and uniqueness i suppose first day first session was a disaster though computers screwed up, amos and i mixed up rooms / colours, etc then amos had to go work and i did the second day by myself second day was fine and i'm definitely getting the hang of it! hopefully dr wan will hire me again during the semester to work on her other research
on a side note: ever since the exams, i've lost 3kg! slow but steady i suppose trying to run everyday + pushups and crunches need to lose more weight before my cousin's wedding so i look good in my suit again lol ~fin~

"Birth" ~happy birthday to me~
yesterday was my birthday and teresa brought me out to eat~! we went to Ma Maison at Central, clarke quay due to recommendations they serve japanese western food
we took the set lunch for $16.90 each and teresa ordered a glass of mango juice for $5 soup was clam chowder soup and it wasn't too milky, just nice!
...you know i don't take veggies
i took the hamburg steak with brown sauce (supposedly stewed for one month) and i loved it! paiseh the next 2 pics didn't turn out well cos i forgot to take pictures of them BEFORE i started eating... they were just too good...
teresa took the beef stragunov with omu rice and she loved it, although i didn't really like the sauce on hers
it was my birthday so we showed them my IC and they gave me a free mango cake with one scoop of ice cream, plus a free polaroid photo!
total damage: $44.70. the service was excellent!
feeling oh so satisfied, we headed down to cineleisure to watch iron man very good movie, remember to stay for the after the credits!
got myself a Zhuge Liang gundam!
we also went to OG and i bought teresa a skirt so we both went home happy!
was sooo tired liao but my family prepared a cake for me and also a spread of pizzahut my whole family was around except my brother who is currently stuck in the jungles of tekong island since my 2nd sis, her husband and teresa's birthdays were coming up, my mum gave all 4 of us ang baos! $_$
today got to go out again. teresa needs to collect her dress while maybe i will go get a game to play tomorrow is the start of dr wan's research... not sure how it will turn out.
